One of the sales guys at work just sold his personal 2006 Focus wagon.
Cleanest ever example of a Focus wagon I’ve ever seen, and maybe even ever, with about 13,000 KM on the clock, that makes this the second Focus we’ve sold in a week, other was an ‘07 in blue, over FIVE TIMES the mileage, also a wagon.
Said car.

To be fair, anyone who buys a brand new Focus wagon probably isn’t enthusiastic about driving.

Just so you know.. this is also the same guy who washes his Corvette (which he drives hard occasionally) every Friday at work.
Just as I step out, he sneaks it in.

Funny of you to say that, as the 1st gen Focus ('00-'07) is incredibly fun to drive with excellent, responsive steering and a total peach of a chassis hidden underneath that bodywork. It may just be a "basic economy car" to the general public, but those who've driven them extensively know that they are most definitely a driver's car. Kinda like Hondas of the late 80's and throughout the '90's: The masses saw them as basic transportation; enthusiasts knew they were a total blast to drive.
Drive one (especially with a manual) on a tight, twisty road and you'd be hard-pressed to think otherwise.
