So I finally got my orders (military equivalent of being hired) for Spain!

And since Kinja is so amazing that it deems me unable to post pictures, just imagine a picture of a Hellcat doing a sweet burnout! So, first thing will have to be first. I need a car. Yes, I’ll have my Explorer with me but I need something sporty. Two doors preferred and rear wheel drive. I’ll consider an all wheel drive if it’s an unmolested Audi Sport Quattro but I’m not assuming I’ll find that. What other awesomeness will be available to me because that second thing, is going to Catalunya. Yup. I’m going to live out my dream of actually going to a track.

I can’t wait. Two years in Spain (or really all of Europe) for me and my wife and two kids all paid for my the Air Force. I have to hit all of the tracks I can. My daughter will love it!

Nice! Still waiting for orders back to Germany for us. Ellsworth is either a 3 or 23 year assignment and we will hit 3 years a few months after she returns from her deployment. As much as we like it here, we want to go overseas and we both grew up in Germany.

Nice. Yea, this will be my second (technically) overseas assignment. I started operationally at Mountain Home AFB in Idaho, then went to my current assignment at Elmendorf and now I’m going to Moron.

Sadly, you’re not wrong. Apparently it’s pretty damn poverty stricken especially in southern Spain. But they still like to throw festivals and everything so it sounds fun!

So I’ve heard. Using Google Maps, Moron doesn’t look all that bad. In fact, it looks a lot like home (Northern California) to me. But it’s Spain. Even more, it’s Europe. I can deal with the shittiness for a free trip to Europe.
