The quest is fairly simple: I need a couple T-shirts, automotive-themed naturally. There’s Blipshift of course, but the ones I would really want from them (and there are quite a few) aren’t in stock. So what else is there to look at?
Here’s a rally Peugeot (504 Coupé Bandana) for your troubles.

i created this masterpiece but due to lack of agreement on its awesomeness it never got printed
i think 2 or 3 people agreed to get one if I printed it, which was far short of the 20 or 25 that I would need

I asked this on Oppo once and was told it was douchey to wear enthusiast shirts.
I disagreed, bought some anyway. This site is solid.
I own the “legends” shirt. Have gotten a couple of Blipshift shirts as well.

No idea about the shirts, but all these 504 coupe posts (I’m to blame for this as well) have me lusting for one very strongly. I now know a 504 coupe will be in my future, as long as I’m able to significantly improve my almost non existent wrenching skills or when my girlfriend will be making lots of money. Do you have any idea how they (504c) are to drive?

As a matter of fact, yes, I have driven an 504 Coupé. It was a very late model, 1983 V6 manual, and it was exquisite. I’m in love with the thing, and want one badly, even though this was in 2010.
Basically, it looks like a gt, and most people think about it being a gt, but it’s no wonder peugeot rallied it. Both the 504 and 505 are prety sound dinamically, and the 504 Coupé is probably the most sporting expression of this chassis, being shortened on a wider track. It doesn’t take mutch to turn into a rally fighter, if that’s your thing, and will handle really well even in factory setup.
One thing of note, is that the PRV is quite heavy, and not that much more powerfull, than the XN6 injection motor, so you do have a choice. Knowing you have a 406 Coupe, you would love it with either, a stylish, but still brisk way to travel.
TL:DR don’t try one unless you are ready to buy one - instant love affair.

I knew I shouldn’t have asked you, now I want one even more. I had a cheap later V6 which needed some work in my
list
earlier. It’s already been sold...

I was a bit drunk and on the phone yesterday, but i think i managed to get the message accross. Of course, it was exactly five years ago that i drove that 504 (here’s the shitty, and Hungarian-only video i made back then), but incidentally we are planning on getting one into the youngtimer magazine i write for - and there’s a nice example on the hook. So in a couple of weeks i’m going to get to drive one again, hopefuly, and will make sure to post about it here after the deed.
