Sweet R33, right? Built car, 720+ HP, looks fantastic. Only one problem. See the VIN put into the EBay ad? It comes back as a 1997 S14. Sure, that may not be the VIN on the car, but if not, why would they have a random S14 VIN handy? If I were a buyer, I’d just be sure to take a more careful look.....

This is where “BUILT NOT BOUGHT YO” comes into handy.

Honestly, if I were ever going to have an R32 or something I’d keep it bone stock on the outside and maybe do a few small things to the engine. Nothing drastic though, the stock look is just about perfect as it is.

Nope. VIN shenanigans are what got all those defenders crushed. It’s bad enough that it’s an illegal alien, they gotta ad VIN scrubbing on top of it? State and Federal goons will be coming after you for that.

Oh, and if they check the VIN and that bloody S13 wherever it is comes up as stolen???? No, no, no-no-no-no-no. All the nope. Whoever buys this is basically setting their money on fire.
