5. They got rid of MSN messenger
4. Product activation sometimes has problems (although much less trouble in OEM versions)
3. The start menu/XP Luna theme no more (although supposedly Windows 10 is supposed to bring it back) For the record I’m using 7x64
2. No 32-bit version of Fuji Golf. Thank goodness for Gopher Golf, but still.
1. No more Microsoft Sam :(
yeah I have Speakonia, but it’s just not the same! Plus, Speakonia fixed some of Sam’s weird quirks (for example, in XP he pronounces website as ‘vebsite’ and pointer as ‘pwanter’ as if it were a french word). Also, Speakonia Sam no longer pronounces characets (& was “and”, # was “numbers sign” and ^ was “circumflex accent”) but now Speakonia ignores them. At least they didn’t fix soy!

Word for Mac doesn’t have this guy.
I’m not sure if that's good or not.

5 Reasons Why Microsoft is Awesome:
1: HoloLens
2: Cortana
3: Windows 10 and all its potential, including mobile
4: Lumia, Band, Surface, and Microsoft's peripherals
5: Xbox with Kinect
As for Sam/Speakonia, there are modern iterations of what that offers IIRC, at least on 8/8.1.

I can’t remember if it was MS Sam or not but if you typed crotch it would say “CROOOOOWSNEST”
I hate the new win8 interface. Had to switch to it for work in case I have to help someone out with it, but I said screw it and installed a shell with a classic start menu over it. Installing win10 preview on my computer at home to see how it turns out.

6. Tried to tie OS to browser.
7. Gave away Office until everybody in the world started using it, then started charging for it.
8. Windows Vista.
9. “Patch the leaky holes in the dam” OS design philosophy.
