Now that Alfa is coming back, can we please have real Lancias again?

I guess you didn’t hear it yet. Lancia is on its last legs. The only market where Lancias sell in any numbers is Italy. Give them two or three years and the very last Ypsilon will put Lancia to its final resting place.

It’s a mystery to me how Lancia brand still exists. They have still couple of models but no-one seems to be buying them. That cannot be very profitable. We haven’t had a Lancia dealers in Finland for years. Exactly one new Lancia was registered here in the last year.

Oooh, a unicorn!
I’ve been looking at ours in the first four months of 2015:
One Freelander
One Lexus RC (no, never heard of it either)
One BMW Z4
Two Lexus LSs
Two Chrysler Voyagers (aren’t these Lancias too)
Two Toyota GT862
Two Peugeot RCZs
Two Volvo XC90s
.
.
29 Honda Accords

Where could lancia lineup in the FCA lineup? It just doesnt. Not much area between Fiat and Alfa and no brand recognition outside of Europe.
I still think they should merge with Mazda.

The sole Lancia that was sold here was a Voyager too.
I couldn’t find the list for the whole year from the net but I have it in a magazine in my workplace’s desk. Half year statistics I did find and it had some interesting or weird models that we got only as one example:
-Renault Laguna
-Alfa Romeo Mito
-918
-Jaguar XJ
-Jaguar F-type
-Chevrolet Camaro (I was pretty sure that Euro spec was cancelled...)
-Cadillac XTS
-Fisker Karma

We bought precisely no Mitos!
No Subaru BRZs or Chrysler 300Cs either.

Chryslers are gone from Finnish markets but GT86 sold 9 and BRZ 8 examples. Toyota sells usually really well here so I was expecting to see more GT86s.
4C sold 3 examples but I haven’t seen any on the road yet.

They could be what they always were, Alfas are for youngsters, Lancias are for gentleman.

Lancias are just as good today as back in the day. I mean, look at this beauty:
Classic Italian style! Bertone himself couldn’t have done better. And it’s FWD, for better grip in those Alpine passes!
And what a great name, the Flavia. Rhymes with...
