Nah, it’d be better with a more modern take on the same sort of engine, a K20 or a 2ZZ maybe. Looks a bargain, though, they’re starting to get expensive here as they’ve all rusted away.

Yeah, “Great body!” + MR2 = half of it is still salvagable maybe. I went to look at one last week, needed both sills, a patch on the floorpan, both rear arches, both rear corners, a front wing, probably something behind the hole in the wing... I bought a seemingly rust free mk2 instead, and it needs patches on both rear arches and the drivers side sill is going from the inside out. :|

I was talking about the removal of the firewall and fabrication of a custom rear subframe to mount it all. The poor AW11’s are hard to find without rust these days.
