Would ownership costs be that astronomically high?

On a BMW V8 powered Bentley Arnage? And yes, I would totally drive one with those Homie-G wheels.

Apparently, a lot of BMW parts were used in the making. Before VAG took over, which I’m sure you were happy about :P

Too bad they stopped using GM transmissions, which made it easy to swap in an LSx and not have to worry about it again

RockAuto will have the parts. I’m shocked at what they have sometimes.

Nope, it’s the V8. The V12 was in the Seraph, also a BMW engine.

Those ‘Homie G” ree-ums aren’t too bad really.

Crap. I think I may be drunk.

Take the operating costs of a regular car like a Honda Civic and add maybe $600/month.

And that doesn’t include the cost of buying/financing it.

Hah, not as a DD. That means maintenance could be skipped until later.

There are certain vehicles I would totally rock ‘Homie G’ ree-ums on.

Escalade ESV

This Bentley

Pretty much any Bentley or Roller

Range Rover, though I would also have a set of off road wheels

A brodozer because it isnt offroading anyways

Everything. Homie G all the things

Seriously though. Something like this is actually a dream garage contender.

Though without the weird front fascia

what makes you think it hasn’t already been skipped until later?

Yes. Absolutely yes. It’s a BMW V8. With two turbos. They also have suspension issues, leaky turbos, the 99-01s have head gasket issues, wiring issues. When (not if) something goes wrong, it’s not going to be cheap.

You would think... but you would be wrong at least for some things.

If I bought a car like that, I’d want to be able to drive it daily or almost daily.

Rock Auto has the hydraulic rear struts for my car, I thought that was a stealership only item. I still spat out my Cheerios while eating viewing the price.

I actually took a look, surprising what they’ve got in there.
