I’m tempted to drive down to COTA for Lone Star Le Mans this September. But I’m curious; does COTA have camping sites?

It does, they are expensive. Or at least they are for F1. Honestly, camping wouldn’t allow you the same experience of staying in a hotel downtown or something.

Yes! We have camping! Depending on what you’re looking for, we have an RV park w/concrete parking pads right next to the track and electricity/water/TV/internet. There’s a bathroom/shower/laundry facility in the RV park as well, and during major events there is pumping service available too.
We also have “dry camping” that’s less expensive than the RV park offering. It’ll be in a slightly more remote parking area and there won’t be any hookups.
If you call in (512-301-6600) and talk to sales, they’d be happy to hook you up with a campsite as fancy as you like.

The camping experience is WAY more of a party than a hotel downtown. The RV park gets pretty wild.

I’m really just there for the race.

I’m just looking for somewhere I can plop a tent. That or I’ll sleep in my car.

Dry camping it is!
