The fucking INCREDIBLE!!! interior! All of it!

We had salesman from our Mercedes side and across the street at Land Rover just stare in awe at how incredible everything is. Materials, design, features, awesome deatails, and exclusive technology. After my time with it, every other car just seems dated.

Dem Seats!

Maximus comfyness and perfection

Safety features (many of which world first)

Even down to the 2 hood latches having a dang crumple zone build in for pedestrians. Maximum engineering bro! 50% of vehicle deaths occur when the vehicle leaves the road. Volvo’s world exclusive Run Off Safety system is incredible.

Electric tow hitch

No more ugly tow hitch sticking out of the back. With the push of a button, the tow hitch assembly hides behind the bumper.

CORVETTE Rear suspension

Just like the Triumph Spitfire, Volvo 960/S90, Corvette, and others, the Volvo XC90 will feature the one horizontal rear leaf spring suspension. Air suspension with Four-C is available. With that, you can program your XC90 to dip and raise when you get in and out of you vehicle.

Value

For example, the BMW X5. For our base XC90, if you want your X5 to be at the level of features of it, you will have to spend an extra $16,000. Base ones will be around $50kish at showrooms and with the T8 Hybrid and features, they can get up into the $80k’s. Land Rover and Mercedes customer will walk the short distance and cross shop here. They will find it to not only have the best in class power and fuel, but ULTRA luxury and technology for way way WAY less. The one featured here (Inscription) will be in the high $50k’s approx.

The S90 and V90 will be released in the next couple of years. I think we all knew that. What you didn’t know is approximately what they will look like. Well, the rep here told me that some people have seen them in person in Sweden. From what they say, well... remember these works of art?

The S90 and V90 will look 99% like these concept with an added set of doors!!! This from a rep that has talk to those few that have seen these cars due to be released late next year.

All I have to say is, good think I get a employee lease program deal lol :] Nah nah boo boo!

Do you reckon you could find out the GVWR of the T8? We need at least 6000lbs for a tax thing. T6 is 200lbs too light.

Those seats do look pretty great. I love seats with the extending thigh bolsters. One of my favorite things about my 135is.

This is in the high $50k’s and is jam packed with absolutely incredible features and luxury. Trust me, i’m around Mercedes and Astons all day. XC90 starts at $48k but with T8 Hybrid, it can easily reach into the $80k’s. Many have already been sold at those prices.

That seems like a great value! A comparable MDX is in the high 50s loaded and it's not nearly as luxurious as this! Looks incredible. Volvo did a great job, looking forward to the redesigns of other Volvo models.

I'm so jealous of you right now Uly. Damn that is a fine looking lump of Sweden. I've been dying for a V60 and hope the used prices drop once I finish college so I can get one for cheap. Here's hoping all that Chinese(?) money keeps flowing into Volvo if this is the result we can expect.

It was the biost Volvo needed. They were near bankruptcy just a couple years ago. Now the forcast shows complete domination and influence throughout the market. Right where the Germans left off with their sleepy vehicles that are the forced “standard”. Time for a shake up, Swedish design and quality style! Chinese money but 100% Swedish down to the last bolt and washer

I'm so glad they kept the "waterfall" tail light theme going.

It will be hard to choose between a used XC90 and next-generation Discovery or Range Rover in a few years.

I see it more of a Disco competitor. Although the XC90’s interior I feel is much better than the Range Rover. The LR and Merc salesman were seriously very surprised and had nothing but the best things to say. Even when getting into the small things
