I started racing karts at the club level when I was 16, then did the Skip Barber regional series when I was 18 and 19. I won the Eastern Championship in 2005 =oD

I’m running out of John Walko’s shop so in the future I’ll be sharing paddock space with the Fat Boy Racing F2000 guys (god help me lol). So I’ll probably be around there most of the time.

My dad’s parents were very overprotective of him so I think that’s a big reason why they were so relaxed. Plus they rationalized it by saying it’s better that I learn how to drive fast properly on a racetrack than on the public streets.

It’s a very rational way to think, honestly.
I can’t afford a standalone racecar unless it’s miata or chump car level. :(
I may autox my car a bit.
I do still plan to use my profession and resources to make a small formula-like car that’s bike-powered as a track day toy, though!
