I decided to gloss over the handbook real quick, and go in to seat of the pants the test.
I failed by ONE question.
So now I go back on Monday to try again. Luckily it’s free and you can take it as many times as you want. I’m still amazed that I could take this test and then ride a freaking S1000RR with nothing but common sense stopping me.
My future bike, for your time.

It happens, I wouldn’t sweat it. I did the same thing... except I had been riding for years with no license. Finally decided to get legal, figured I knew enough, glossed over the book real fast and missed by one question.
Also, why is it amazing you can get an S1000RR as a first bike if you so chose? It’s no different than getting a McLaren P1 for your first car.

Nice man. Not to be a downer but be safe out there, I just got some bad news about a classmate having a spill on his bike.
Leave your lights on at all times and assume everyone waiting at a junction is going to pull out on you, because they might.

I passed mine, but when I got to the counter to get my permit, the man asked if I had ever been to Vermont (I’m a PA resident). Of course I had, got a real bad speeding ticket there too and I didn’t pay it! The ticket was from June of 2005 lol, they always get you.

Yep. I had a close call in a similar situation last weak. He got my measly motorcycle horn and a nice middle finger to go along with it.

It’s the diagrams that have varying scale for every object, and little to no clarifying information about what some of the odd objects are. Those wavy lines that are larger than the car near the intersection - no one knows what they are, but it means the logical answer is incorrect.

Try some practice tests online, might be less boreing then the handbook. Here’s a good one http://freedmvpracticetests.com/motorcycle-per… (Yes this is a shameless plug for my own site)
