Would this be a good investment?

And how long would one have to sit on this car in before it’ll be profitable to sell?

Kinja'd!!!

1994 SVT Cobra for $15k and slightly less than 24k on it

A long while. I would say about 10-15 years.

Nope. This is sort of the redheaded stepchild Cobra and would never reach the same value of a comparable Terminator or ‘93.

As far as a I know no one wants SN95s.

Nope. I’ve dealt with the idea of buying one though... There is one around my place, here in Japan, that is on sale for less than 5000$ in very good condition with 92000 miles...

Nobody wants them here lol

Yep. This is about as high in price as it’s going to go. The only reason it would go up higher is if there is a nostalgia wave for the SN95 after most of the GTs/Cobras are wrecked or destroyed. Not likely to happen any time soon.

What do people think about those in Japan? Like when you go to a car meet and someone shows up in an SN95?

Also, I’ve seen that the 2013 Mustang GT was sold in Japan. What was the opinion about that one?

They don’t like them... Not one bit. Just like most american cars here, it’s usually a redneck car (yes we have rednecks here too... Funny thing is that they are called “yankee”) that nobody wants. People who own them own them to show off and feel that it’s cool because it’s somewhat rare and not from here.

I don’t care much about that, and I got VERY close from buying this one... Especially since I used to own an SN95 in the past and loved it.

It depends - does this car have Cobra power and parts, or just the badges? I’m leaning nope.

I thought people liked the new Mustangs in Japan, because from the Vaugh Gittin drifting videos in Japan everyone seemed to like it:

“Rev it to 5k, it’s fine” *Old man has a heart attack.

If it were just one year earlier.. The SN95 cars just looked too feminine.

Maybe but that makes me feel old when I think like that. I was born in 1994.

Nope. Plus, you’d have to not drive it for the nearly 20 years it will take to appreciate even a bit.

10-15 years. Maybe a foreign export would get you some money, but that would also come at a price.
