Reason #453 why I can't do android.

Not being antagonistic at all - this is why I use Windows Phone. I can’t stand that this shit exists on Android.
On to your question though, either perform a factory reset, go through your Apps one by one to find the offender, or install some sort of AV app to do it for you. Honestly, I have no idea if the AV apps for Android are snake oil, or if they actually do something.
Also, is your phone rooted? That’s usually how these apps find their way in. By installing through unofficial stores, and by rooting your phone and removing some of the boot environment protections.

Da fuck you been doing. Wait let me guess, obtaining entertainment material from less than legit sources.
Anyway check your apps to see if you accidentally installed something rogue. If not clear the browser’s cache and data.

For Windows Phone? There is a lot of crapware. None of it can hijack your OS session though.
Hackers have been trying for over 2 years to dev unlock Windows Phone 8 and 8.1 to allow sideloading apps. The closest they got was for a specific Samsung phone because the drivers weren’t signed. But in over 2 years, they haven’t been able to do shit for any other model.
It’s that kind of security that prevents this kind of crap from happening on WP. Even iOS doesn’t have that kind of track record.

Sandboxing FTW.

Secure boot and Driver signing FTW as well. As well as god knows what other kind of security secret sauce MS uses to keep their phone OS locked down.

Did you allow unknown sources? Cause that how you get adware. I’ve been with android since the Google G1 days and haven’t gotten malware.
![]() 05/06/2015 at 22:43 |

It has no adware because no one cares enough to make adware for it.
![]() 05/06/2015 at 22:51 |

it has no adware because not a single soul has broken out of the sandbox

What allows iThings to be jailbroken and AndroDevices to be rooted has not yet been completed on WinPhones. Nobody has been able to hack through or exploit the OS to their own purposes.

Google "Windows Phone Sandbox" for more info. I would paste a link but lolkinja
