My AP Physics 1 test is now officially over! The multiple choice felt pretty good, but the free response was a total mess. My only hope is that I’ll pass at this point...what sort of testing are you doing?
Volvo Concept You (stupidest name in history) to keep it car-related...

I’ve got my exam for International Consumer Behavior tomorrow, then an exam for Collective Decision Making and Pop Art next. The first and the second I’ve pretty much got in the back, the middle one will be a little tougher. Need to brush up on some calc.

I have HIPAA/ePHI compliance training coming up soon. Since my FTE position likely won't go through until after its over, I'll get to do it all over again! That'll be five times in just over 1 year of employment. The UGH is strong

Well, I just did my test to get my full driver’s license.

Cool! I should do that sooner than later too...

That sounds interesting...what overall subject?

Haha, that doesn’t sound like fun...hopefully everything works itself out and you don’t have to do it again later...(for the sixth time)

International Consumer Behavior is a marketing class, which is outside my field but I took to pad out my schedule. Turned out to be pretty interesting though, and I love the professor.
Collective Decision Making is an economics class (my major) examining the theory and effects of public goods, and it’s actually at the master level which I’ve never done before. A bit more challenging but I’m not too worried about it.
Pop Art is, naturally, an art history class. Also outside my field, but I find the skills and experiences gained in these classes are just as useful (thinking critically, discussing something complicated and abstract with others). I also really enjoy classes like this and they come easily to me, so it’s a win–win–win.
I already took my Industrial Economics final, and I have a 10 page paper to write for Risk Analysis and Economic Management (which is one of the stupidest bullshit classes I’ve ever taken).

I'm hourly right now, so it's six hours of paid non-work
That's its only positive

I took AP Chemistry on Monday and the physics today. MC-finished with almost 30 mins left after I slowed down, frq’s-hard.

The free response gets released officially in a day or so, going to be interesting to take at look at them and talk to my students about them.

I had no idea that they were released so quickly! The thing is, this year’s seemed to be pretty different from anything we reviewed (for our class) so it should be interesting to compare it to the lesson material...

Agreed, same story for me (except no AP Chem...they won’t let you take it as a sophomore at our school...)

Civics test tomorrow. Nothing too special.

I’m an AP Physics Teacher, this was the first year for this particular curriculum so your teacher was I would guess like me pulling from the “old” AP Physics B Review material and hedging bets on what would be on this test.

AWWW YEAH BROTHER. That’s what I’m doing on Friday.
I just did AP Seminar exam yesterday. It was LOOOOONG. Longer than the Calc AB exam! Look up what you have to do.
THEN IM TAKING THE AP LANG EXAM NEXT WEDSNDAY. NOTHING LIKE RHETORICAL ANALYSIS AND OVERANALYZING A TURTLE CROSSING A ROAD (FUCKING GRAPES OF WRATH).

That. Ass. That Volvo ass is the only test that matters and it passes.

ALL OF THE TESTS. I had five already this week, with another test today and tomorrow. Today’s my last test on Biology and then I’m done with it.
I’ve still got another two weeks of tests everyday so... :C

Wow, impressive...I only have AP Physics this week, then finals in about three weeks...

Yep, it wasn’t that bad though...

Dang! How did you take physics as a sophomore!? Have you taken any chemistry yet?

I’m in regular chemistry at the same time as AP Physics but unfortunately I’m in the slow class so I don’t think I’ll be that prepared for AP Chem...our school does let sophomores in AP Physics since they figure that we might take AP Physics year two as well so it’s better for us to get a head start...

Gotcha. I took pre-ap chemistry last year and AP Chemistry and AP physics 1 this year as a junior. Next year I’m doing AP Bio, and AP physics C

Mmmm, taking AP Chem and Physics 1 at the same time sounds tough! I’ll be taking AP Chem, Calc AB, Lang, Chinese, and APUSH next year so wish me luck...

I’ll be doing AB next year with bio and physics C and then English government and economics with the joint county-hs college program we have here.
Good luck with the Chinese! And APUSH should t be too bad, unless you get a crappy teacher like a lot of my friends did lol

Haha, I’ve been in Chinese school for years since I am of Chinese descent (my mom only) so I know the basics of the language...my parents don’t want me to take the actual test however, since the teacher sucks and won’t prepare us in time...they are suggesting just taking the SAT, which I agree with. I have heard that our APUSH teacher has a very challenging course but it really prepares you for the AP test...
Yeah, all of my (close) friends are leaving to a community college program next year but we’ll still see each other often enough...
