Last night I received the most stressful phone call in my entire life. I won’t tell the details, but it had to do with college and money. That night I went to sleep extremely depressed, feeling like my life has no future.

But now, less than 24 hours later, I’m completely back to normal, although my future has changed entirely. Now instead of continuing at my current university, I’m going to a community college to get a transfer degree.

So, there’s that.

Have an Aerodeck for Wagon Wednesday.

Happens to me all the time man, you’re not alone. One day I’ll feel meaningless and wonder why I’m still around. Next day I’ll feel fine.

Yeah it sucks so much. I’m not lying when I say thinking about Forza 6 sorta helped me earlier today.

Well done fella.

Sometimes you’ve just got to pull yourself through the day and start a fresh the next day with a new outlook. You can’t dwell too much on the past but use it as a learning curve for a better tomorrow.

It really does. I could go on for hours about my problems.

Glad you bounced back, and glad your education continues. Also, I wonder how many times that exact Aerodeck pic has been posted here, because I want one every time.

The only way to get a clean Aerodeck is to get Honda to restore one as a PR stunt :P

Glad you’re feeling better; community college can be quite excellent in that you meet a more broad selection of people than you would at a regular university. And in the long run you might save a lot of money on the same degree!

Yes, I want to use this opportunity to transfer to University of Washington and save two years worth of tuition!

I just took the last year off because of money. Or more specifically a lack thereof. I found out that my loan application was denied only a few days before classes started in the fall. The last year’s been rough at times, but hopefully I’ll be able to go back this fall.

It’s good to hear that you can find an alternative way to get the education you want. For me, there isn’t really an option other than “please play again”. I’m in a pretty good position now, and so long as I can avoid sinking too much money into my Jeep this summer, I’m feeling pretty positive about the fall.

Money is nice - but there is value in bootstraps as well. Scraping together an education is a pain in the a$$. And I agree - blasting around Laguna Seca or the ‘ring for a couple hours helps me too.

I did all my pre-recs in a community college, mostly night classes after work, honestly I think it’s the best way to do it, and it’s so much cheaper.
