Whether that’s aftermarket or officially offered from the manufacturer.
I realize most people just use an iPod now, but what if you were a crazy CD-aficionado, or decades from now someone wanted to build a “90s-00s” stereotypical era car and so they wanted like a 12 or 20 disc changer, sort of like how there are some 60s cars out there with in-car turntables or 80s cars with 8-track players?
Anything out there?

I know a few companies did 10 disc for a while...
We put an aftermarket Sony 10 disc in our Jeep a few years back that went in the trunk. I think they make even bigger ones now

I have a 12 disc aftermarket by Pioneer, and I have a stack of 10 discs from Volvo’s and Mercedes

90s stereotypical car has a cassette deck and a Discman with the tape adapter flung on the passenger floor. Get one with ESP and it’ll only skip often.

I remember having an early disc Walkman that skipped more than it played. Then I got this thin blue one that had ESP and rarely skipped. It was the best

I remember Aftermarket 10 cd changers, but I’ve never seen more than 6 in dash cd changers. Now that I think about it my dad’s mazda bt-50 and Veracruz both have 6 and my toyota sienna also has 6... why 6??

But did it have “DIGITAL MEGA BASS(tm)“? haha.
I went through so many Discmen (Discmans?) because I worked in a shitty area and assholes continually jacked them. Being the smartest dude ever I never thought to take them with me or even chuck them in the glove box.

Would you be kind enough to post a link of that Pioneer? I’d love to see it

it is in a big box in my garage. FM transmitter (I kept it for use in some classic with only a radio). I will snap a pic in a few. You can have it if you send me a shipping label

I think my 01 Grand Cherokee was 10 disc. I think.

ah shit, it is only a 6. I remember it being a 12, maybe there is another around
Interestingly right where I keep all my old radio crap, this is my first decent stereo - out of my Scirocco I had when I was 16 (20 years ago). Tape deck Denon
5 disc changer
I had the top off to repair the power supply at some point. Oh there is a tape in there. Ministry. Ah youth

Wow, thanks for going the extra mile for me!
To anyone else interested, this is probably the best thing I found; allegedly the world’s smallest 12-disc changer: http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/JV…

if I find the 12 I will let you know. I did double check and the one that came out of my V70R is in fact, a 10 disc (the head unit was a 3 disc as well with Dolby Surround)
