I feel quite strongly that the current IndyCar’s questionable looks is a significant contributor to the sport’s lack of success. Anyone who says racecars are function before form is full of shit. Racecars need to look fast and mean and sexy. Today’s IndyCars are awkward and clunky and can’t even decide if they want to be open wheeled or closed wheeled.

It’s a shame these sleek Panoz DP01s didn’t keep racing. So much better looking(and faster) than the current Dallara.
