My wife and I use Sunrise. Had to find one that worked pretty well on both Apple and Android. No complaints.

Why not Google Calendar? My wife and I both use it, and share our calendars with each other. Works great, syncs with our iPhones (we use the Fantastical app).

Just start with Google Calendar and see how you like it. There’s a place to “add a friend’s calendar” on the left sidebar when viewed in the browser. You can color-code each calendar and then sync it with your phone.
