It’s not mine. We still have a lot of work to do and a lot of stuff to fix. End goal is to set a new record for dyno numbers from a Buick 3800. Somewhere around 1000hp is about right.

LOL You arent putting down 1kFWHP through the stock trans obviously, and theres no TR606 equivalent for FWD cars, so that leaves you with one option: 4T80e.

This car is being built to make one dyno pull with the expectation something will violently explode during that pull. It does have a hardened LSD installed in the trans, and some other goodies I don’t remember.

You should talk to Ryan Cheney of FTW Coatings in Wichita. He runs (ran?) a 3800SC Fiero that was then turbocharged, but I can’t remember if he twincharged in the in-between time.

It was a 4t65eHD. Still the best transverse performance option if you can manage to source the GM Racing parts from the various scattered suppliers that made them.

I’m in the middle of building what I hope to be an 800hp Fiero (high-revving 4cyl, so not as much torque as a 3800), and the GM transverse transmission scene is currently pretty rough.
