This little treasure is for sale by a buddy of mine. I think it’s a nice car, it does need a little work but it seems like nothing unmanageable. What does the Oppotariat think?

Hard to tell in the photos, but the paint looks tired. I only mention it because if it’s original, you might be able to bring it back. If it’s a respray, then the lack of depth is likely forever. I’d like to see more of the “redone” interior, if only because I’m a sucker for Cardinal.
EDIT: I just looked closer. Paint is more tired than I thought.
Everything else is easy. The gauge cluster probably needs new batteries and/or the grounds cleaned. Find a nice stock radio and remove all the hacked wired (because they all have hacked wiring if they’ve had an aftermarket deck). A dash crack is a dash crack, regardless of how many. AC probably does not just need a recharge. Exhaust... easy, too.
When did it last have a timing belt? The M20B25 gets one every 4 years or 50k miles, and do not be late. Negative style points for painting the wheels black. Seriously, that is a thing that just needs to stop.
If the soft parts - top, interior, paint - are nice, the rest is fixable. I would normally say $3500 is on the high side, but if it’s a nice, mostly unmolested example it could be in the greater ballpark.
