NPOCP suggestion: This !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is going for $3,999. Want to drive something unique? Seems like this could be it. I don’t know anything about these cars. What do you think?

Link is borked, but if that were RWD I’d be all over it. Weird: check. 80s: check. Convertible: check.

Been for sale for a while. I’d offer 3200, settle on 3500. Would rock.

That’s pricey for an Alliance. Aside from being basically tin cans, they’re not that horrible. Parts also seem to be available. Sauce: I have helped a friend work on his.

$1500, outside. I dare you to try and find parts for that.

Not that hard, actually. Off the top of my head (IIRC), ball joints are like $50 per, CV axles less than $60 brand new. Being made for a while in France helps, and they’re pretty mechanically simple.

Didn't even know about these!

Hmmm.... Link works for me... It’s FWD though. 3 out of 4 checks isn’t bad. Though FWD is a major one.

Weird. Maybe it’s because I’m in Europe.

Someone parked one in front of my office once.

This is a GTA Alliance - Better engine than the regular 4 banger, supposedly the one they ran at car races or whatever.
But FUCK NO! Dont want this. Not even free - Maybe in Yurup you can still find someone who can fix this. Not here in ‘Murca - The Renault Alliance goes through head gaskets like other cars need oil changes. In convertible form I’m sure it vibrates dangerously at every tiny rock it drives over. This car makes any British Leyland car look like Honda in the reliability sweepstakes. But if your hipster self really wants to have an awful french/american car, what can you do?

If you have a hankering for something French, this may be your drug. This car averaged less than 1800 miles a year over its life, its probably never seen rain, much less snow. Assuming everything works, it might be a lot of fun as a weekend car.......
Here’s what Bring A Trailer said about this GTA LINK
