One of my all time favorites, both to listen to and to play, this track goes well with any mellow or melancholy mood. The fingerpicked guitar part constantly teeters on the boundary between warm and gloomy, and Nico’s woeful vocals almost haunt the track. I know this song has provided much enjoyment on somber days, and hopefully it will do the same for you.

I always thought the lisping was both really odd and interesting.

I’m not sure if I’ve noticed any lisping. Which lines are you referring to?

well maybe not technically lisping just odd way of pronouncing words and the long s sounds.

Great song and pretty good album. I like Glen Campbell’s cover too - it is especially touching considering he knew he had Alzheimer’s while singing

Me too. I think it is accentuated by the weirdly (or ingenuously?) sloppy double tracked vocals.

Oh ok. Nico is German, so I guess if you know that it makes a but more sense—it’s her accent. It definitely adds something to the track though.
