I wanted to see my wheels lift off the ground so I did a thing (go to 36 seconds if the link borks)

Unfortunately my go pro doesn’t work right so I don’t have any other footage from today. Here’s some pics from last week though!

It’s equally impressive watching the sidewall flex as the weight transfers from one side to the other. I like this shot, gave me some cool ideas to use with my own GoPro.

Ha so cool! Just over 20 yrs ago I had a BAJA Bug with a worked 1835 twin port(it COULD provide power too the wheels!) You could get it to lift the inside rear wheel when turning onto a side road. Being rear wheel drive and open diff you needed momentum to carry you through the corner. Not sure how far off the ground the wheel got but it was up for long enough that if you kept your foot down(never lift!) the engine revs would climb, when the wheel touched down again the resulting burnout would turn heads! Was even more fun in the wet, as the weight transferred awesome fishtails were on the menu. Of course this should only be done on a track not a public road. *cough

That sidewall flex is absolutely fascinating
