Just in the background, though. I just saw a bunch of crap laying in the dirt inside of turn 2. What happened? Did somebody drive through some of those Styrofoam signs?

I believe so. Andy Lally had tweeted something at the beginning of the race about maybe it being time to finally get rid of those trackside signs.

At the Petit Le Mans last year, I watched some guys in their 20s setting those up. They put them on the outside of a lot of turns, and I’m still not sure if that’s just where they were told to put them or if they just wanted to watch them disintegrate.

Looks like they did a number on the viper in lap 1 or 2. He cause something over the curb, but the signs did some damage up front.
