Sadly I didn’t manage to reach rank 5 this time. This was the first time I’d ever put any real effort into Iron Banner, so this week was spent getting high up enough to get the shader, class item, and emblem so I can hopefully use the stacking rep bonuses from them to get to rank 5 next time.

And yeah, the RNG Gods are very cruel. I was a little miffed I didn’t get jack shit, despite the 17 K/D.

Have you been using the Tempered buff? I went from halfway between 4 and 5 to 5 in about an hour and a half on Friday (with bounties). If you play on Monday with Tempered it gives you a full 100% rep bonus. That with all of the class items should make 4 to 5 pretty quick, though honestly I’m not a huge fan of the hand cannon so it might not really be worth it.

But yeah, RNG sucks. A friend of mine in my fireteam managed to get 22 and 0 with only the Nechrochasm and got nothing... I have absolutely no idea how he pulled that either. The kid is amazing at first person shooters though.

Yeah, I use it. I’m about halfway through rank 4 right now. I do like Hand Cannons, so I’d like to be able to get it, but it’s going to require some glimmer farming in order to afford it.

Also, are you playing on PS4? I have a friend who complains about horrible lag on Destiny for PS4. What happens in that clip looks exactly like what he complains about.

It’s probably good in PvP, especially if you get a good roll, but I ran out of motes rolling my Jolder’s Hammer and (unsuccessfully) whatever the sniper is called. Now I have to farm for motes, which is the biggest pain in the ass in this game. Ahaha. And I’m on XBone. Thankfully the lag wasn’t usually that bad. I wouldn’t have been able to keep my sanity if it was.
