Now that the fight is over, all the bros are drunk and in the mood to fight. These nights are usually very active :] One call just came in that a large group of people do not want to vacate an apartment and are getting rowdy. Be careful out there my friends

OK, so I went to test drive an ATS today in Dallas.
As I’m driving around, the sales guy tells me to turn into a pretty nice neighborhood, right around Highland Park. He warns me that the cops like to hide in residential driveways, and immediately we see a cop sitting there.
Then we see another cop in another driveway down the street. Then another, and another, and another. Overall, there had to have been at least 20 cops parked variously along that street. Pretty fucking insane.

Just drove home from my friends’ house in Rosenberg. LOTS of people on the road. I could tell some were inebriated.

I go to bed every night with the scanner going.
Best one so far tonight:
“Complainant is intoxicated. States there is between 4 and 50 people fighting outside a business. Cannot name the business because he cannot remember where he is or how he got there”
They sent 4 cars to that one due to the possible large number of people, but there was no one there when they showed. However, on the way there one of the guys saw a Charger and Mustang racing. Bad timing pony cars, 4 cops on top of you immediately. Charger was still on dealer tags and they’ll both get impounded.

Pretty sure that’s illegal if they are in private driveways. Unless it’s their own driveway

That is odd. Some people must be super afraid of crime.

Depends where you are. In some places there’s crazy easement laws where anything up to 15 feet from the curb can be used for ‘public sevices’ which law enforcment counts as. They couldn’t pull into your garage, but they could camp in the apron. In others the easement is 3-5 feet from the curb and is restricted to utilities and sidewalks so it would be illegal there, however HOA covenants could override that and allow it and HOAs are always flipping out about speeding and parking.

I just figured it out. Apparent Biden was in Dallas, they must have been on the route where his motorcade was going to pass.
