Everyone expects a boatload of Lambos and Ferraris at Supercar Satueday. And those of us in attendance weren’t disappointed. I rode into the show as a guest of the Chicago “V” (as in Cadillac V-series) club. 14 of us mostly black, mostly new CTS-Vs. I enjoyed looking at the over 400 cars in attendance, but I took pictures of the more jalop and obscure cars in attendance.

Out of all the cars my eye was drawn to the unmistakable curve and angle of the S2000 front corner. I assume, due to the color, that this is the last CR edition?

Thanks for posting pictures and sharing! This was the biggest event we have done in our history, and I think it might set the tone for the season. Hope to see you out later this year!

lol, not many guys in the chicagoland area go by giz and are part of a caddy club!

i don’t remember who frodo is anymore :( after changing jobs and selling the eclipse(bought a brz now), i haven’t really watched the forums much.. been spending most of my forum time over at hidplanet

pioneer came out with the 80prs, and it does everything that i really needed the carpc for minus wifi, except of course that winamp kicked the lama’s ass and played everything, where i had to convert half my media library from flac to wav to work with it.. so in the end, it’s as reliable a setup as my carpc was. lol

wish i would have been there this weekend, i looked up super car saturday’s back in january or so, but just kinda forgot about it since then. maybe i’ll try to make next months meet.

Honestly though, I have a bad feeling that we’re the next enthusiast show on the chopping block. The amount of idiocy has increased lately, especially after shit like this happens.

i’m not on any bookface pages. i generally try to avoid that place like the plague. too many problems, posers, and whiners that delete stuff they don’t like, and start fights over nothing. i generally keep to the forums, because most people that go on forums treat people like people..

Fair enough. I’ve shied away from the Facebook group a bit lately, for those exact reasons. However, there are some great people in the club.

Well if you go out to any SCCA solo events or anything I’d like to meet ya! (Assuming I haven’t already... lol) Also, we are planning a cruise to NW IL (Galena area) on July 18. If you can you should come along. The cruises end up being a lot of fun.
