This car does have an insane amount in the build.

Could be a Motorex car...

Cool build, but CP for me. Extreme project cars like this are always a no-buy, since I have no idea how well put together this thing is.

It goes to show what a bad investment cars can be. If he really sunk $150k into that he’s getting killed. Spend money you can afford for your enjoyment of the car, not for an investment.

Also, if you get caught with that car, it’s going in the crusher. No way it got into the US legally.

Good point.

If it was me though and that were true, I’d lead with it; wouldn’t you?

If I needed more space I think I could pass on the reference to the Nismo floor mats and the custom battery set up.

If there are things that have done to this car that need to be undone, it’ll be expensive. CP.

Since it’s a GTR, it might have been brought over under ‘Show & Display’. But I hope it’s legal.

If the car is as purple as I think it is, it was definitely for sale in Texas nearly two years ago for $40k.

You can by two ways:

1. )It’s a Motorex car with an official pardon from the government.

2.)You’re allowed to bring a ‘96-’98 R33 but only if you’re able to make it OBDII compatible and change out all the glass and lens for DOT-approved units. And so far, no one has been able to do a legal OBDII conversion for any R32-R34 GT-R.

It’s physically impossible to convert a turbo RB Skyline to LHD because of how Nissan located the turbos and exhaust manifolds. All Motorex cars retained RHD (key example being Yellowbird from FnF), which is fine in the US, they were “modified” to meet US safety requirements for pedestrian and occupant safety and emissions.
