Good morning everybody! So, as it turns out next week is a pretty big week. I’ll be on the European launch of the gorgeous new Ford Mustang in Bavaria, Germany.
We will be getting out mucky paws on both the 5.0 V8 and - perhaps more crucially for the European market - the 2.3 Ecoboost engine in both fastback and convertible forms.
Preliminary route takes us from Munich to near the Austrian border, and over the two days it’s about 250km of driving. We may even get some autobahning thrown in to the mix for some high end speedo fun.
I wanted to post this in plenty of time prior to the event as I thought some of you guys might have questions or certain requests for bits and bobs you’d like me to check out on the car. Naturally, I’ll get back to this thread to see if anybody has left any comments too!
This is quite possibly the biggest launch of the year, and I can’t wait to see what the new Mustang has got in its locker. Excited!
