I had to remind myself that ‘valet’ is parking in the U.S.

Valet in the U.K. is to have your car cleaned (U.S. detailed), while in the U.K. ‘detailed’ is to have your car thoroughly and deep cleaned (though sometimes its used as a replacement to valet).

The only other person to drive our car is a dealership mechanic and nobody cleans our car but me. Hence I’ve one of these.
