Well the 1980 and 1981 were Carb’d cars so... *Gives you a look making me feel better about myself*
![]() 04/30/2015 at 20:09 |

Yeah, the C3 would have been a lot better if it weren’t restricted.

![]() 04/30/2015 at 20:11 |

At least you also think the C5 is great. I honestly think it’s one of the best-looking Corvettes. It isn’t trying too hard.
![]() 04/30/2015 at 20:12 |

It was a good car up until 76ish. Especially once they switch the SAE measure for power.

Duh!! I almost bought a C5 Z06 50th Anniversary in the proper black on black, but the dealership (I work at) didn’t want to meet my price. So a few days later I hear the guy who traded in his S2000 on it, wrapped it around a pole. I was devastated the car was cherry with 27k on the clock. Its called torque you FUCK!! Your shitty Honda didn’t have any, and even though “the S200 is the last sports car you own before a Corvette” you didn’t deserve such a car you twat!!
.
Sorry, I might still be mad about that
![]() 04/30/2015 at 20:18 |

Haha, true, Ill even skip over the Crossfire stuff.

We all know it goes like this :
1. C2

3. Early C3
4. C7
5. C1
6. C6
7. C4
![]() 04/30/2015 at 20:21 |

1. C3 - Sexy so long as it has chrome bumpers.
2. C2 - Sexy
3. C1 - Retro and Sexy
4. C7 - Looks cool
5. C5 - Good performance bargains
6. C6 - Old Man
7. C4 - 80s lol nope
![]() 04/30/2015 at 20:22 |

Also acceptable.
![]() 04/30/2015 at 20:25 |

what did you base your ranking on? if you were going to be given one free of charge would you really pick the C5? I feel like I’d have to go with a C7 just for its crazy performance, but I really like the C4 lately for some reason.
![]() 04/30/2015 at 20:26 |
|
The C5 is the best-looking modern Corvette in my opinion. The C7 is trying too hard and the C6 looks like a toy. The C4 (if you can call it modern) looks too 80’s.

1. C2
2. C7
3. C1
4. C6
5. C5
6&7: C3 & C4

6.C3
7.C5

You are entitled to your opinion. But... you are wrong. :)
![]() 04/30/2015 at 20:47 |

Since I own a C3 I will keep my biased opinion to myself. But IMO the C7 makes the 5&6 look dated as hell but I’d rather have a C5 and I drive a stock 77.... So I’m weird...

AM I NOT CORVETTE ENOUGH FOR YOU?
![]() 04/30/2015 at 20:57 |

I’m glad you’re giving the C5 some respect. My list would have to go like this (best to least best) :
1) C3
2) C2
3) C7
4) C4
5) C1
6) C5
7) C6
It changes day by day, but this is what it is now.

![]() 04/30/2015 at 20:58 |

Is it weird that I like them c1, c2, c3, c4, c5, c6, and c7 in that order?
![]() 04/30/2015 at 20:59 |

:'(
![]() 04/30/2015 at 21:12 |

There needs to be a split for early C3 and late C3 as they made some drastic changes to the finish of the cars as well as nerfing the performance.
![]() 04/30/2015 at 21:18 |
|
I read it backwards, I thought you meant the C6 was the best followed by the C3 and I was all YES finally someone gets it! Then I realized my mistake. Just invert the list and I agree with you almost totally.
![]() 04/30/2015 at 21:31 |

Here is the list of the top 7 Corvettes:
1. C7 Z06
2. C6 Z06 (2011 to be precise)
3. C5 Z06 (02-04)
4. 63 (C2) Z06
5. 67 L88 (C2)
6. 67 427/4-speed coupe with knockoffs and stinger
7. 95 ZR1 (C4)
![]() 04/30/2015 at 21:38 |
|
My top 3 would be
1) C7
2) C1 (the original C1, with the mesh over the headlights)
3) C2
![]() 04/30/2015 at 21:52 |

Mine would go:
7: C1
8: Lingenfelter/Hennessey versions.
9: C6 ZR1
10: all the rest.
1-6 intentionally omitted.
![]() 04/30/2015 at 22:20 |

My ranking would be (with 1 being best):
1. C2
2. C7
3. C6
4. C1
5. C5
6. C3
7. C4
![]() 04/30/2015 at 22:22 |

You’d really rather have a C3 over a C2 or a C7?
![]() 04/30/2015 at 22:24 |
|
Yeah... there’s a big difference between early and late C3. And I see you correctly have the C2 on the top and the C4 on the bottom.
![]() 04/30/2015 at 22:27 |
|
Good to know I’m in good company! The early C3 was what made it so well regarded, regulations ruined the car.
Also, I suppose I can see the C4 being higher depending on the person... but how can you NOT have the C2 on top!?!?!?
![]() 04/30/2015 at 22:28 |
|
I’ll be honest, I’m not a Corvette guy but I agree with this list.
![]() 04/30/2015 at 22:43 |

You are gonna get so much shit for this.
And rightly so. :)
![]() 04/30/2015 at 22:51 |

![]() 04/30/2015 at 23:33 |

YAAAAAA!!!! C4 all the things.
130MPH fly by YUP!!!! (in Mexico of course)
My list is a little more specific than most.
1. C6 ZO6 and ZR1
2. C7 ZO6
3. C5 ZO6
4. C4 LT-4 (‘cause beating up on C5’s)
5. C4 ZR-1
6. C2
7. 78-82 C3
8. 68-77 C3
9. Base C5
10. Base C6
11. 84-90 C4 (I apologize to my C4 owning brethren, I just don’t like early C4’s)
12. C1
![]() 05/01/2015 at 02:06 |
|
Actually, I’d say that’s a pretty fair ranking.
![]() 05/01/2015 at 04:59 |

It is
C1
C2
C7
C5
C3
C4
C6
![]() 05/01/2015 at 07:41 |

So the AMG GT S does nothing for you, and you don’t think the C7 is the best ‘Vette ever made (it is, unquestionably).
Yup, you’re definitely broken. You should contact your warranty provider for a replacement.
![]() 05/05/2015 at 15:29 |

Just now seeing this. Sir, I disagree.
Of course this is just personal preference and not particularly tied to performance/sales/etc.:
1. C2
2. C3
3. C7
4. C6
5. C1
6. C5
7. C4

Corvettes, ranked by RT.
0. Mercury Montclair Marauder, since it led to the best Corvette-related thing .
1. C2, just look at it.
2. C4, as it’s a bargain now making it the smartest buy, see also: ZR-1.
3. C3, it could’ve been my favourite Corvette, but later models were awful.
4. C1, it beats the C7 by a hair due to the beautiful Scaglietti version.
5. C7, since it is the only Corvette that can compete with its contemporary rivals.
6. C5, too plastic and uncomfortable - but it gave us the LS and kept pop-ups.
7. C6, like a C5 that drives better, but sacrifices the cool-factor. Rip pop-ups.
