Yea. Looking at the clearances on those headers, this should be extra fun. Have spent the last few weeks removing the old rusted ass studs. Finally got them all out and only had to retap one!

That’s pretty impressive.
Did you do a before vid to compare to your “after” sound?

No. I’m replacing the stock manifolds because they had a leak. The pass side rear bolt hole was broken and there were 7 broken bolts on that side alone and 1 on the drivers side. I do have a ton of pics of the entire process, it’s been a severe undertaking on my part. About 3 weeks ago I was throwing tools all over the floor and cussing over this sob.
That bolt denied a stud extractor the socket kind and the drill chuck kind, denied being welded and extracted, broke a drill/extract extractor and denied vice grips. I finally took a cutoff tool with a disc and started cutting more of the bolt off and the extractor that was broke in it came out, which let me drill with a bigger bit and then use the next size extractor to get it out. Here’s the extracted stud.
That was sooo close to the threads lol Amazed I did so well.

Thanks! Getting it to this point has been a headache but when I look back it feels pretty damn good to know I can and did do it.
