I can’t fathom why anyone brake checks willingly. The danger involved to both parties, let alone anyone else on the road is really not worth the risk; ever. It happened to me a few weeks ago when a lady was in the passing lane; of which I waited a few miles before switching to the right lane and attempting to over take her since she didn’t believe in the “left lane is for passing” law. She then sped up to block me, so I dropped speed and re-entered the passing lane behind her. I assume she was on drugs/not happy with my attempt because she proceeded to try to brake check me 4x+. She brake-checked so hard that the guy behind me almost hit me even though he has a substantial trailing distance. I switched over to two lanes away and just decided to go the 15 under as she wasn’t worth the risk of injury to my car/person.

This guys fate didn’t have as peaceful of an ending:

If someone is tailgating I just play with the rear fog lights. They usually back off

I usually have my dash cam on, but of course the one day it was dead it happened. I would like to buy a second one for my rear view given the amount of poor driving I’ve seen in my rear view mirror.

I should have noted I wasn’t tail-gating; which is why we didn’t end in a really really really bad accident. What car has rear fog lights? That sounds awesome.

oh no I didnt figure you were, just saying what I do if someone is close. Almost all European cars have them, some on one side, some on both. Regardless a bright red light blinking on in the back gives someone close some pause without you having to slow down!

in my E320 wagon the rear wiper washer nozzle was frozen into place pretty much pointing straight up and not at the glass. It was fantastic to use for this purpose as well! Should have put vegetable oil in it though

By that 4th time in the video where they just stop in the middle of the lane I wouldn't have even bothered with the brakes. Front end's toast anyway, might as well hit hard while you don't have anything to lose.

Or the 3rd for that matter. or mabe I'm just a terrible person.

I like how the guy just didn’t want to give up. Like yeah I get it that 2 lane highways suck but dude you went around the vehicle eventually just keep going!
