Having a bit of feels right now, knowing I just had my last “regular” (non finals/presentations) class ever. I love my grad school, my teachers, and a couple of my classmates.

I don’t care for most of them, but there are a couple of good ones there.

Yeah I know what you mean, I just thought it “sounded” funny.

But you’re free. No more idiot group members. Or final papers. Or exams. Don’t feel, celebrate man!

I hate my school as a whole, they make it blatantly obvious that students are there to fund the whole place and nothing else. While there are a lot of good professors there are just as many shit ones and most of the people here suck with the exception of the few who I legitimately love.

Hate to tell you this, because I don’t like it myself, but life has taught me that there’s really a very small number of friends we all have*. Lots of acquaintances, but not many friends. School was the first place I learned that. Welcome to life as an adult (meaning the realization of constraints from what it should be from our younger days.)

I know the feels...I finished grad school in 2013.
To me, nothing’s better than being in school.
