Great Kinja Support Team, I have discovered a Bug! When I go to paste anything into a Kinja text box on my phone - Nexus 5 - or tablet - Nexus 7 - it... Well, it doesn’t work. I’ve confirmed that the bug doesn’t occur when pasting into any other text field - other sites’ comment boxes, Evernote, the url bar and so on - and as I’m experiencing it on both my 5.1 devices, it apparently isn’t localised to my specific hardware.

Same issue with mine (m8). I just accept it as a Kinja Feature

I’m on 4.4.4/CM11S and I’ve got the same problem. I’m not sure if it is an android issue or a chrome issue both have proven to be very buggy when it comes to Kinja.

I run 4.4.4 on my Galaxy Note 8.1 and have the same issue

Same issue here too.
Plus if I go to delete text the text box acts like it has a Poltergeist. I hit delete and it inserts one or two more of the words I was trying to erase..

Yeah, I’m getting that, too. It also seems to get progressively laggier the more text I put into the box.

It’s preventing me from posting YouTube videos of dogs and Peugeots. This will not stand.

Just download Internet Explorer; problem solved.

Why you no IE, Android?

Don’t worry. Kinja mobile isn’t much better on Windows Phone right now either.

Such is true. The only workaround I’ve found is using the link tool but it doesn’t embed the video. Plus kinja won’t let you force the desktop version which is a bit highly irritating.

I thought I was crazy trying to paste youtube links last week. Glad I’m not alone. Android 5.1, nexus 5

Agreed. Trying to scroll, Kinja thinks you want to read that story not skip it.
Can't paste into comments. But at least I can reply to threads again.
My 920 gets so warm browsing all the Gawker sites. Kinja is not mobile friendly.

Same Issue. Nexus 5 5.0.1 and Nexus 10 4.3
