Be me, sitting in the turn lane.
Look over, see guy in a Masarati Quattroporte pull up in the next lane.
Make eye contact, roll down window half way. Say nothing.
Wait for the light to change.
Be rewarded by the exhaust note of the gods.
It was an unexpectedly good way to start a Monday.
Be me.
(Below, not the same guy, but the sound is glorious!)

I had a similar event happen last summer. I took a right onto the roads that loop around UB’s north campus and what is in the lane next to me? A beautiful, white, Maserati Granturismo.
I rev’d (if you could call it that) what little my poor 2.0L I4 could muster in hopes that the driver would deliver in kind with that sonorous note.
Nope, fucker wouldn’t budge and was in fact doing 10 under the limit. I literally had to pass him and get in front of him to make my turn.
I was so dejected.
