They like to sit in them.
To listen to their engine beat.
To deliver medicine when it’s needed.
And to check important organs.
Of course that some doctors can get a little intimate with their patients.
But that’s only for a faster recovery...
“Yep, everything seems to be fine, here.”
“Okay little Honda, you’re good as new, see you next time.”

this is full-on creepy as shit.
Also: it's one thing for Ray to dragon a Vette, but why is she giving the S660 an enema?
04/20/2015 at 11:43 |

If you look closely, the needle isn’t placed on the exhaust pipe, but a little more on the left. It’s just an injection.
04/20/2015 at 11:46 |

Not in my case. I support women’s rights, but her reaction was like a vegan being mad at vegetarian for enjoying cheese.
See how I labeled the girl as a doctor, instead of a nurse. Most sexists think that women are not good enough to be doctors.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 11:47 |

it's not a needle. and the perspective is skewed. she's giving it an enema.
you need to brush up on your japanese porn tropes if you think otherwise.

i know that *you think* they are not two sides of the same coin. but *they are* the same issue.
04/20/2015 at 12:01 |

Being extreme isn’t a solution, because when you are too extreme you drive the moderates to the other side. I’m sure that my post is far, far less harmful to women’s rights(if it is at all), than the recent decision of the judge who sent a woman to prison for having an abortion.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 12:13 |

so in your mind the two extremes are
Having opinions of "sexy" pinup girls<———>Legislating away freedom
![]() 04/20/2015 at 12:30 |

There were bigger problems than confronting racism in the 60s, too, but the Civil Rights movement was still a thing that happened. The presence of other issues that need addressing doesn't invalidate the merit of other fights. You should know that, Louie. I'm sure the topic has come up on ODeck before.
04/20/2015 at 13:47 |

Nope that would be to simple. The two extremes are the people who are extremely sexist and women who are extremely feminist. In between that you have moderate sexists, moderate feminists and neutrals(who in some cases are pushed towards a side or another, depending on the type of extremist, they come in contact with).
I myself, am not even neutral, you can say that I am 90% feminist. I support the right of women(and humans in general) to do anything they want with their own body, abortions included. I support the rights of woman of getting health insurance from their employers(including the medicine they and their doctors want), I support paid maternity vacation, I support equal pay for equal work. I support longer time in prison for rapists and pimps. I support the right of women to get protection from the authorities in domestic violence cases. So you can see that calling me a sexist, for enjoying some pictures of a professional model with a car, is simply ridiculous, and in no way can be equalized with the harm done by that judge I mentioned earlier, by legislator who are turning their own views into harmful laws, by pimps or even by average sexist guys who call every woman hoe or bitch, every day.
04/20/2015 at 14:07 |
|
I meant that there are bigger battles in the actual war on woman, than calling me sexist, considering that I’m 90% on your side(see my reply to OM, to see my view on this, as I don’t like to copy/paste stuff I already said in the same discussion).
Like Bill Maher pointed out, we can’t be proper liberals, and not have tolerance for slightly different opinions, we can’t expect the conservatives to ever agree with us, if we can’t be united despite having slightly diverse opinions on diverse topics. Feminism and political correctness are ok, so is respecting other people, but if you take those to the extreme(like anything else for that matter), you drive away some moderate and neutral people , who otherwise might have supported you.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 14:14 |

I will say this: people are judged by deeds, not words. and if somebody thinks your deeds are sexist (in degree or in kind), then that's the way you'll be regarded. I think the S660 is sweet ass car. I think the girl (definitely too young for me and definitely not a pro model) giving it an enema is fairly fucking creepy. and if you live in japan long enough to see the sad commoditization of young female sexuality and the way that this infantilization pushes young women out of economically stable careers and into the b-grade tarento world of pervy amateur kameraman , then this kind of spread is doubly sad.
i'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but like I said, this spread is really creepy. I just clicked because I love the S660.

Well, are deeds like not voting for politicians who are against the things I mentioned, joining groups on Facebook, who support woman’s rights and tweeting my support on various occasions, enough? Or do I have to run for a seat in Congress, on those issues to be enough,
Also, there are a lot of pictures like that on the
website
I got those, so I’m guessing that the girls have some modeling experience and the photographers are legit.

do you deny the placement is intentional?

except she looks 18. i guess we don't share the same definition as spiciness. give me an late-30s/early-40s lady in jeans (not shorts), sensible flats, and a t-shirt while she puts that S660 through its paces and then we'll talk. i literally cannot get it up for duck lips.

I know what it is, but it’s not the case with the M4. If I relate a car’s anatomy with a human’s, that area would be the shoulder.
04/20/2015 at 15:24 |

I think the website knows that its target audience is composed mostly out of Japanese guys, so to them, it matters too little how spicy those pictures are for us. But I’m still only 28, so Japanese girls in their early 20’s? That works for me.

I know you just starred my comment in another thread...same goes for you too. Aint no need for this. Think its worthy of complaint? flag it.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 18:28 |

As long as there is sexism (and racism, because let’s face it, yellow fever is racist) on oppo, I will speak out against it.
Ain't no need for it? I disagree. There is most definitely a need for it.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 18:30 |

I don’t think Kinja allows folks to flag posts. Or, at least my silly burner ass can’t.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 18:31 |

Flag it, leave it alone. We check the flags and will moderate. You KNOW that this type of action only causes unnecessary drama on both sides.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 18:33 |
|
You can flag a comment or email the mods. You cannot flag a post but a flag will alert us to an issue. We are very active in keeping tabs on it.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 18:34 |
|
I had thought of doing that at points in the past (with other shitposts), but wasn’t sure if that was the right procedure, so I refrained. Thanks for the heads up.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 18:40 |
|
I thought we could only flag comments, not posts themselves. Has that changed in the newest iteration of kinja? (I haven’t really had a chance to look around yet).
But beyond that, I won’t remain silent. It’s kind of a bullshit thing to tell someone, Hammerhead.
The handbook says y’all won’t tolerate sexism, yet your actions time and again prove otherwise. Either you’re serious about that rule or you’re not (royal you — all the mods — not just you specifically).
Furthermore, I made a single comment on this post. One. The larger criticisms (which I agree with, btw) were made by another user entirely. Yeah, I know I’ve kind of become the face of feminism on oppo lately, but it’s even bigger bullshit that you’re leveling a “stop complaining” admonition in my direction in this instance. Clearly I’m not the only person on oppo who has issue with this pernicious issue.
It may cause drama, but I refuse to be silent in the face of bullshit.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 18:43 |

The right procedure is and will always be:
Step 1. Can you ignore it?
Step 2. Can you deal with it yourself using the dismiss button?
Step 3. Does it need to come to the mods attention? flag it.
Step 4. More information needed for context? Email us. Oppomoderator@Gmail.com
Step never: Be a dick about in the comments.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 18:45 |
|
You can only flag comments, but i know you know our email.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 18:54 |
|
That I do. But I don’t like bogging things down. I know you know how many times I’ve actually emailed y’all. Which (I’m sure would surprise some folks) isn’t all that many. (Shall I list them?)
To that end, though... Why bother emailing y’all at all? Like I said, your consensus is pretty lacking. Some of y’all were perfectly fine telling the guy who sent me a cum shot gif basically nothing at all.
But seriously, Hammerhead, I want to know: are you legitimately trying to tell me to stop complaining?
I’m sorry if you’re sick of seeing my criticisms or dealing with the fallout from them. Imagine how sick I, and other women oppos, are of having to come to a place we love and being confronted with this crap all the time.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 18:55 |

What do you make of this ? Us guys sure didn’t complain about topless men adorning a BMW.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 19:00 |

I wont be drawn into a debate on sexism, past events or silencing your views. I will tell you again that there are proper channels.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 19:05 |
|
“...won’t be drawn into a debate...” HH, you started the debate when you told me to be quiet. And yes, that is exactly what you have, and are continuing, to do.
Previously I was told that civil conversation/criticism was among the options of “proper channels.” So I guess the goal posts are being moved, eh?
I'll reiterate: I won't be silent.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 19:06 |
|
Don’t put words in my mouth.
silent - no voice
Proper channel - a voice aimed in the right direction.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 19:09 |

Silence also comes from being told how to use one’s voice. Trying to give me limited means with which to use my voice effectively silences me. And I'm telling you, I will not abide by that.

This is the part of me not being drawn into the larger arument part again. Also, once again...do not say I have said something I have not said.
![]() 04/20/2015 at 19:20 |

You have the luxury of choosing not to be a part of the larger argument. I don’t.
And I’m not putting words in your mouth.
But I get that you’re done discussing this with me at all, which is disappointing. Disagreement or not, I thank you for your time and hope you have a pleasant evening.

![]() 04/22/2015 at 15:17 |

to be perfectly honest, I divorced myself from the moderation of this issue for a time because I was to emotionally invested. I asked the other moderators to keep an eye on the email for me and if necessary repsond in my stead. I’m sad to hear you haven’t heard back. Given that some time has passed and my emotions are less entangled I would love to take a look at it and bring it up with the group.

![]() 04/22/2015 at 15:53 |

I got it. Not exactly non-personal, but I’ll make sure it gets in front of the group. If you feel that I am unable to effectively moderate regarding this issue than I think you are wrong, but I can sit it out and let the group handle it if it makes you feel better.
![]() 04/22/2015 at 16:02 |
|
I have nothing against you personally, make no assessments about your moderation skills in particular (mainly the group as a whole) and feel no need for you to recuse yourself. No one did anything to address the perceived inconsistency, so the email was addressed to everyone. I’m also fighting serious tinfoil hat over my email not being seen but I’ll assume some gmail glitch.
![]() 04/22/2015 at 17:00 |

You can take your hat off, it simply didn’t make it through. No one in the group saw it.
