The oil pressure gauge on my dash doesn’t work (It’s the mechanism in the dash that’s broken, not the actual switch). So i decided I’d buy a mechanical gauge (an actual gauge since the electronic is actually just a switch) and add an oil temp while I’m at it. I figured this would be easier than tearing apart the dash and i like the idea of a mechanical gauge instead of an electronic one. They are all hooked up and work. I still need to wire the lights for the gauges though, but that can wait.

That’s actually really neat. Most of my dash gauges don’t work thanks to gm stepper motors. I should use a similar idea and just mount my gauges along my pillar lol.

It went a lot smoother than i thought it would, it only took a couple hours to get it installed
