Just in general..

you need to realize you have something very special.

I’m 17. I drive a 2013 Honda Civic LX with an automatic. I lease it. I have worked since I was 14 to be able to afford what I have. My Civic is not exciting. It is not cool. It does not impress anyone. But I feel proud driving it. Why? I pay for everything. I made the down payment, make the monthly payments, and pay the insurance.

I have lived a hard life and seen a lot of shit. Nothing has ever been handed to me on a silver platter. So, when you come here, get a $28K car for free, and then complain about it too much, you will piss a lot of people off.

Oppo is a community. We are a mix of all sorts of people from all sorts of places. You have a car that is more expensive than some of our older, hardest working members can never have. I just want you to think about what you say and do on a place like this. When you complain, it essentially is you humble bragging to everyone here that you are entitled and have parents that give you everything.

Yes, maybe you should’ve thought about things like debt before getting the car but you didn’t. Why do your parents want you to keep the Challenger? Because they already are spending the money and taking on the debt and usually with big choices like that there is no rewind button.

To sit there and want to go down to something older and much cheaper at this point is a huge middle finger to everyone around you.

I just want you to consider things before you say them. My family has a history of money issues and when people like you come on here and brag, it makes me feel like shit again.

The fact that you are not humble and ungrateful for what you have disgusts me and a lot of other people.
