Found this car on the Mirage Performance forum. It is just a 1.8 liter engine. Bit I have a v6tt engine that will fit in it sitting in my garage.

There is a bit done to the car. He is only asking $4,000. Unfortunately we just went into small debt with buying a metal roof. So even $4,000 is out of the question right now.

Its a 2000 mirage that is probably the only Evo 4 widebody in USA and maybe entire world. The bumper is speculated to be a one off custom bumper made by Phoenix Power for one of their show cars. Somehow it made its way to USA. All the rest of the evo panels are oem except for the fenders which are FRP dureflex products with frp wheel well liners. The car has the following parts: Wilwood custom 13” big brake kit with 3000gt master cylinder. 89Mirageman rear disc conversion KYB rally spec struts and springs (very stiff ride) Greddy 50state legal muffler. Enkei Nt03M 17x7.5” wheels Evo replica recaro front seats and Evo9 rear seats with matching door cards All interior panels changed to black and grey (beige plastics were sprayed black) Evo9 black carpet JDM GSR momo steering wheel Evo8 Vortex generator JDM power folding mirrors and JDM color matched door handles New front wheel bearings and ball joints

What type of V6 do you have? That would be an awesome project.

Cool Focus brah. A TT V6 is a very cool engine, and would have tons of potential in what I assume is about a 2700 pound car. But I’d be hesitant to take on someone’s “custom” frankencar, because when random crap goes wrong you can’t fix it off the shelf.

I’d definitely want several grand lying around to tackle both immediate and eventual issues, unless you’re a fabricate-one-off-parts level mechanic.

Those are wide flares from an Evo V.

There really aren’t any “frakencar” parts on there now. The swap of the v6TT has been done into the mirage before. And the guy I would ask to help is the one who did it.

But yeah, parts for that engine would be hard to get since it's not native to the U.S.

That would be a very cool swap.

The want is strong. I don’t think I could pull the trigger without planning AWD swap, and that’s no easy/cheap task. A man can dream, though. Evo IV is best Evo.
