Time once again for a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
Tonight, the challenge is to find the most desirable car you possibly can, within a rather limited budget.
You've got $7,000 (US), what kinda Oppo-friendly car can you find within that budget?
Here's my prime example. This is a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , the global hot hatch variant of the 206.
Under the hood, a 2 litre EW10J4S engine, producing 175 hp. Of course, it's got a manual transmission. 0-60? 7.4 seconds.
Also, it's got 77,097km on the odometer, or just shy of 47,906 miles, and it seems to be in near-pristine condition, the only negative would be the fact that it has aftermarket taillights.
So, how much would a really nice hot hatch Peugeot like this cost? Not a lot, actually. Listed price is $5,360. If it wasn't for the 25 year import law, this would likely be a Peugeot worth importing.
Now it's your turn. You've got the $7,000 budget. If import laws didn't apply, what would you bring to America?

The 206 is not a good buy at £350 which is what they go for in the UK let alone $5000.

Really like them both. I'd personally take the blue one because it doesn't have those stupid black plastic pieces the yellow one has, I really like the blue paint on this one, and the McIntosh Labratory stereo, since the company that made it is based in the state of NY.

Link doesn't work, but I found it myself .
Really liking the way it looks with those wheels, and I like how the color of the glow on the aftermarket stereo matches that of the other buttons on the dash.

Yeah, I really wouldn't recommend that - or, indeed, any - 206. They're just terrible. Any pre-206 hot Pug? Go for it; they're fantastic. But the 206 is an utter piece of shit.

My pick would be this $6,130
Nissan Stagea Autech 260RS
, which is essentially a Skyline GTR wagon - RB26DETT, AWD and all.
Kilometres are a bit higher than the Japan average at 124,000km, there is minor wear on the driver's seat and what seems to be an aftermarket AFR gauge on the dash, but the exterior is unmodified down to the factory rims which is a bonus - and best of all, its a manual.
Ticks all the Oppo boxes except for a brown paintjob.

The WR Blue one is definitely the nicer of the two. I especially like the optional BBS wheels.
