I'll just assume Opponaut means awesome space guy in Miata, and Opponaught means guy with no car

TIL: Opponaught is a young Jay Leno driving with his left foot in a chair with a massive lumbar support.

To be fair, according to Wiktionary, -naut as a suffix comes from the Greek word for sailor and means voyager, tripper, or fairer. So you might be more accurate putting a sailor in that Miata.
Although I am waiting for someone to use that Miata picture as a profile picture.
