Matt Brandenburg of Brakim Racing (the rally Lamborghini guys) put me up for the night on my way out west. This morning before I left he gave me a tour of his shop and a hot lap around the compound in the rally BMW. He's definitely a "pitch-it-in" type driver. Loves it sideways, but got a little caught out a couple times when the grip was less than expected.

Also, he has corgis

Rally people are awesome like that. He's one of four rally folks putting me up on this trip, and in the past I've had really people I hadn't even met yet offer me lodging
