Welcome back to the Oppositelock Cool Wall! In this bi-weekly series, we take a look at five cars and vote for their position on the cool wall.

In what was a freak gust of wind, the LaFerrari was blown off the board (due to recent news regarding an unpleasant Canadian individual). The Megane, Focus, and Golf were cool, the Mini was seriously uncool by one vote ! The Type-R was uncool. Seriously? Well, I guess I'll tell Honda you guys really don't want the Type-R here in the states.

Neither of these are very cool. The GT-R coolest for me, even if it's slightly boring.

New cars? Why not take a look at Volvo, Skoda, Peugeot, Renault, Citroën and such?

Things like the DS3, C4 Cactus, S60, V40, Rapid, 208, 308, Captur, Clio and so on.

I did uncool, cool cool cool, but honestly they are all hovering on the cool/uncool line. 5 years ago the gt-r was straddling the cool/sub-zero line, but now it's getting kinda old, and kinda expensive.

It also brings with it the end of the gated shifter for the R8, and probably the end of the 'bargain' supercar from Audi. R8s could still be had today for $100k new for the V8, but that model is going away, so expect this thing to come in at $200k minimum. Not cool.
