I see a little of pretty much every SUV here. I personally like it in this blue.

Not seeing much of the GM trucks in it though.

That's a nice tall wagon.

I see a little of pretty much every SUV here
So basically the GTA car design method?

Wow, the rear looks AWFUL from this angle.

Haha, lots of funky stuff must have happened to make this one.

I actually kind of liked it but yay it died. Hopefully we get a real wagon or crosswagon based on the US Accord now in its place. I'd personally prefer a 4Runner over either the Crosstour or this though. Because off-road family hauler.
![]() 04/09/2015 at 16:23 |

I don't disagree about the 4Runner. That said, something like the Pilot is a far better option for the vast majority of the car buying public.
The only "off roading" they are ever likely to do is parking in the grass for their precious snowflakes' lacross bouts.

that's not a truck, but indeed you can see an influence.

To it's defense, they all look alike. every one of them.
The only 7 passenger that people know what it is/was is the Ford Flex.
The pilot, pathfinder, santafe xl, highlander, sorento all look somewhat alike.

yes sir

Which they would be so proud of themselves for navigating that horribly bumpy mown grass field. You are of course correct in that the Pilot is a good vehicle for mall crawling, junior lacrosse attending mommies and daddies of the local HOA and PTA.
I still prefer the 4Runner with its more aggressive styling and wide range of usability. I am interested to see how the new Ridgeline works out, real truck or still a minivan with a bed? Either design type will work since the first was such a success.

Honestly a letdown compared to the first-gen, which imo is the best one (but I'm very biased towards it)

I was thinking Chevy Traverse family, (Buick Encore, GMC Acadia)

Durango sticks out of that lost 7 seater crowd I think.
![]() 04/10/2015 at 13:02 |

Sticks out so much that it is always forgotten.
When I was shopping for my 7 passenger last February, I thought of it, but didn't even consider it as an option. Yes it might be basically a Mercedes, with a pentastar(iPad autocorrected as pen taster btw), or a hemi. But it is still a dodge, and it has a drinking problem.
![]() 04/10/2015 at 13:08 |

That's the problem, it's boozing not it's loving of the taste of pens.
I like them and would totally rock an R/T but they sure as hell are thirsty.
Oh and my wife saw one in front of her the other day, turn off into a park we were trying to get to and she said she was "following that minivan"
Whelp, that ruined it.

I've driven a current Durango V6 Citadel and averaged 24mpg calculated in it over 800+ miles
