Some of you may have seen the pictures of the Corvette Z06 that came into work yesterday, here's a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! if you didn't see it.

Well today it was getting its carbon fiber bits put on, I got a few more pictures. (please excuse the rotated picture kinja doesn't really like vertical pictures.)
I see expensive brakes.
These tires a wider then they look.
These rear tires are huge.
More expensive bits.

I didn't get any underbody shots it wasn't lifted up that high so I didn't think I couldn't get that good of a picture. Sorry bout that.

You can tell how much thought went into thought when into the making of this car just by looking at some of the little things the put in here and there.

Yup, all the weight reduction areas while maintaining strength. Imagine the simulation hours they put into that... haha
I'm about to run simulations for structural integrity at work, definitely a super interesting field. It's cool how much you can get done before even hitting test parts.
