Due to the influx of kit-cars and other oddities, Car manufacturers will now have to have sold at least 500 examples of a product in a major territory (US, Asia, Europe) to gain booth presence at any major auto show in the US. Said examples must comply with said territory's major car production regulations.
Booth space is limited. We must cut the wheat from the chaff somehow. We thank you for your cooperation.

Honestly, from the line-up ( and last years cancelation of) the Auto-Rai in the Netherlands, any company would be a welcome addition. Even vaporware. Hell, ESPECIALLY vaporware.
I'd love to show you but the site is down. Nope not kidding. The biggest/only car convention in the Netherlands can't even keep its site online.

Well, since you mentioned that Lyons thing... I was honestly surprised how shitty that thing looked in the post/video on the FP. The body work looked like it had been done by those morons over at SuperReplicas, the one time they actually made a car. I wasn't expecting it to be perfect, but I don't think anyone who sees that thing is going to believe that it's real.

I've seen garage jobs that look better than that. And they actually think the finished product can do ~300 MPH...at 22MPG...making 1700HP from a twin turbo 8.0L V8....

Nah. It's pay to play.
If you can afford a booth, and you have one or more cars to stuff in it, go for it. The auto show in my area isn't even all cars - there are booths with mortgage companies, ATVs, the local track, replacement windows, gutter guards, rims-for-rent, etc.

I'd say that even FIVE, complete, registered, licensed vehicles would be enough for booth presence at any show. That's about 500% more than most of these "companies" have ever produced. (Fine, mathematically, it's an infinite percent more than 0.)

My opinion is if they're willing to pay for the booth space then let them have it. That shit ain't cheap and if they're willing to commit that kind of scratch to it then they have every right.

Vetoed. Car shows are about the crazy. What fun is it to walk through a giant space, with the underoderized masses, if all you will see is the same crap you will see on the road in 3 months. Boring. Give me these any day of the week:
