I am a god. Not the God. No, I don't even warrant a capital 'G,' more like a god, with a lower case g. A rain god, to be more specific. I say this because it seems that, without fail if I wash or wax my car, the clouds in the sky take it as approval to come down upon me to express their desire to be near me. Here we are in the middle of the worst drought in California history. I decided that this would be a great weekend to wash and wax my car.
My Fiat, Sophia, hasn't been waxed since I bought it two years ago. The paint was looking like it needed a little love, and in celebration of the 30,000th mile, I bit the bullet and did it. She looked great. the pain seemed to gain a depth of color that I hadn't even noticed was missing. It looked so nice, I just parked it where I could see it just to admire the shine....this morning, I walk out to discover it have been sprinkling. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for any kind of water that comes from the sky, but I knew it would screw up my beautiful newly applied wax job....But on the other hand...dat beading! (Not mine, but you get the idea)
