And it was justified as well. I sure hope it drives better than it looks.

I like these, but I don't want to own one.

I've never driven one, yet.. but I have a feeling we're on the same page.

The GS 450h is FUN.. I can't see the NX300h being more than a city cruiser.

Well, don't say that for sure... you'd be "takes of glasses" on fire :P

With new cats like the Bentley Continent... Excuse me Lincoln Continental concept, cars are copying each others design elements. I will say I like that Lexus is establishing that spindel grill. It's unique to them, and hard to copy without catching super heat.

It does drive very well.

Looks are subjective, but at least it elicits a response. Unlike a Lexus from just a few years ago. Those were so dull you wouldn't even notice them.

I'll take polarizing design over obscurity or boring any day.

For sure. But what looks somewhat rather AWESOME on the new IS, and not that bad on the GS looks rather stupid on the LS and downright ugly on the NX :P

I've seen a couple in person and they're much better in front of you than in pictures.

The NXs actually look really decent in person I think :)

Do not like the slab sides, do not like the front, rear end is pinched-looking, wheels too busy. If you had a black one, hang a tag on the front that says "VADER" and your work is done.

My Stepfather's been driving a Lexus or another for the last seven years, so I do know the new ones are quite nice cars. His GS 450h F-sport is rather fun actually.

The NX300h is quite polarizing, but since me mums old car was a Toyota Urban Cruiser.. well :P

Nyah.. I like the rear and the sides.. The front, not so much.

Me mum could never have a black car, Lexus Norway would never have a small car in black as a press car.. And my stepfather always buy press cars from lexus :p

Yup, it IS a RAV 4, but with a few bits and bobs added, and sold for.. Oh I dunno.. 20K (USD) more.. me mom got it cheap though, since it's the press car.

Ya don't get me wrong, the new RAV4s are pretty nice, and I'm sure the Lexus version is really nice, I just thought we got past the whole badge engineering thing. I know automakers are going to be sharing platforms across their fleets, that's fine, but for 20 grand I shouldn't be able to spot it this easily.

We're car guys though, we'll spot it anyway. Most people newer saw that the Saab 9000 was pretty much the same car as the Lancia Thema, Fiat Croma and Alfa Romeo 164.

Lolol it definitely has a"stretched " limit. The IS has always been one of their best looking cars. I hope to own one, one day, or the v8 GenesisGenesis.

The IS is an awesome car, drove the new IS 300h the same day it was released here in Norway, it was a fun car.

For me it's the fact that they are nice cars that seals the deal.

I car that can be both soft and hard (NO DIRTY THOUGHTS NOW), both fast and a cruiser.. well.. I love them.

For some unknown reason, to me Lexus styling doesn't work too well on their SUVs. Their sedans look great but their SUVs don't.

Rather easy though, low cars with a wide mouth looks somewhat like a shark... "tall" cars with a wide mouth looks like a whale.

Not a bad way to save money. Brother-in-law and sister get executive demonstrators from Fiat/Chrysler through a friend. Low mileage cars that are loaded.

Mhm.. and since it's a Lexus.. well Lexus Norway give my stepfather new wheels without curb rashes and all that as well.

Keeping up the appearances you know ;P
